Abstract

The level of signal and interference in the decameter range of radio waves is subject to significant random changes, which affects the reliability of radio communications. The reliability of radio communication in the decameter range is determined by the ratio of the average signal level to the noise level at the receiver input to its permissible value, which, in turn, depends on the selected operating frequency. Also an important indicator is the standard deviation (standard deviation) of the signal-tonoise ratio at the receiver input. The latter is considered to be a constant value and is 14 dB. Nevertheless, according to experimental data, the standard deviation (RMS deviation) of the ratio of signal power to noise power at the receiver input in the decameter range may vary depending on frequency, which may affect the accuracy of communication reliability calculations.

Abstract

Erosion-bed processes can be caused by various factors, such as high speed of water flow, uneven flow, change in the direction of water flow, water coming to the surface from aquifers and the groundwater horizon, the presence of variability in the channel and other factors. A mathematical description of the processes under consideration in their complex relationships and system analysis allows us to predict the development of erosion-bed processes, such as: changes in the strength of the channel, an increase in the speed of water flow, the formation of local waterfalls and rapids, dam breaks and other dangers. In addition, the removal of material from the riverbed can lead to pollution of water bodies and disruption of the ecosystem.

Abstract

The development of technology these days is amazing in its rapidity. Computer and network technologies have come a long way from local file sharing services to a global repository that absorbs the knowledge of many generations of humanity. However, now a new milestone in technology development is gaining momentum - artificial neural networks, which are something different than the prototypes of artificial intelligence shown to us in popular culture - films, TV series and books. These are assistants that are developing every day, capable of performing a wide range of tasks assigned by a person. Neural networks are becoming more and more rooted in our lives, and we use them without even realizing that they are branches of artificial intelligence. The list of them is quite large, starting from voice assistants aimed at quickly searching for information on the Internet. Due to competition in the technology market, almost every large IT company owns its own voice assistant, which is distributed on devices produced by the companies - personal computers, mobile phones and other smart devices. Among the most influential, it is worth noting the voice assistants ―Alice‖, developed by Yandex, ―Cortana‖ - developed by Microsoft, and ―Siri‖ - a voice assistant for devices created by Apple. Also, in addition to voice assistants that recognize voice commands, there are neural network generators that have found their niche in various branches of modern Internet media, from generating text to creating original images based on user requests. Video content is one of the fundamental pillars of media culture around the world and to this day, the majority of the population finds it preferable due to receiving more information in less time. However, now in view of the development of neural network technologies, the question arises: will actively learning neural networks replace full-fledged video production workers? The article will conduct a study of statistics on the use of neural networks for working with media content, and will also answer the question posed above.

Abstract

An actual task of modern solar physics is the prediction of geoeffective phenomena, which include the fast solar wind, flares, and coronal plasma ejections that cause perturbations of the geomagnetic field in near-Earth space. Some of these disturbances are well known as magnetic storms. The goal of the Sun Gazers project is to create a database, three-dimensional visualization and forecast of the events described above. This database will allow us to match initial and boundary conditions for MHD-modeling. Visualization is necessary for visual comparison and analysis of the events of the above database.

Abstract

As part of this work, a computer quantum chemical simulation of the interaction of magnesium phosphate with essential amino acids was carried out in order to determine the optimal stabilizer for Mg3(PO4)2 nanoparticles. Quantum chemical modeling was carried out using the QChem software and the IQmol molecular editor. At the first stage, the modeling of the magnesium phosphate molecule and the molecules of essential amino acids was carried out, then the modeling of the molecular complex "amino acid- Mg3(PO4)2" was considered, in which the interaction of magnesium phosphate with an amino acid passed through an amino group. As a result, models of molecular complexes were obtained, and the values of the total energy of the molecular complex, the energies of the highest populated and lowest free molecular orbitals, chemical rigidity and the difference in the total energy of the amino acid and the molecular complex "amino acid- Mg3(PO4)2" were calculated. As a result, it was found that essential amino acids can be effective stabilizers of magnesium phosphate nanoparticles, which is confirmed by the values of the difference in total energy and chemical rigidity of molecular complexes. Due to the fact that the molecular complex of tryptophan and magnesium phosphate, in which the interaction of molecules occurs through the amino group in the in the indole ring of tryptophan, has the highest values of the difference in the total energy (∆E = 1946,223 kcal/mol) and chemical hardness (ε = 0.121 eV), it can be concluded that tryptophan is the optimal stabilizer for nanoparticles magnesium phosphate.

Abstract

The search and development of rational uses of fatty waste formed in the production of fish oils is an urgent ecological problem of the fishing industry. Currently, this problem remains unresolved. Soap stock after refining fish oils and fatty foam after flotation treatment of industrial waste water from fish oil production contain a significant amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids and soaps. These components can be a basis for obtaining various technical products. It was found that soap stock and modified (saponified) fatty foam mass have antifriction and surface-active properties. This allows to determine the field of their use as a drilling mud lubricant. The study of the environmental safety of a new lubricant additive based on modified fatty foam mass made it possible to classify it as a low-hazard substance, determine the maximum permissible concentration in the water of fishery water bodies, and recommend it for use in the offshore oil and gas fields development.

Abstract

As part of this work, computer quantum chemical modeling of the interaction of calcium carbonate with biopolymers (chitosan, hydroxyethylcellulose, hyaluronic acid) was carried out. Quantum chemical modeling was carried out using QChem software and the IQmol molecular editor. At the first stage, modeling of the calcium carbonate molecule and molecules of chitosan, methylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, hyaluronic acid was carried out, then the molecular complex ―calcium carbonate - biopolymer‖ was considered, in which the interaction of calcium carbonate with biopolymers was considered as the interaction of the calcium atom in calcium carbonate with the functional groups of biopolymers. As a result, models of molecular complexes were obtained, and the values of the total energy of the molecular complex, the energy of the highest occupied and lowest free molecular orbitals, chemical hardness and the difference in the total energy of the amino acid and the molecular complex ―calcium carbonate - biopolymer‖ were calculated. As a result, it was found that chitosan, hydroxyethylcellulose, and hyaluronic acid can be used to stabilize calcium carbonate nanoparticles, which is confirmed by the values of the difference in total energy and chemical rigidity of molecular complexes. It has been shown that for chitosan the optimal interaction (∆E = 939.445 kcal/mol, ε = 0.026 eV) is the connection through the amino group attached to the C2 glucosamine residue, for hydroxyethylcellulose - the connection through the hydroxyl group attached to the C6 ethoxy group (∆E = 939.762 kcal/mol, ε = 0.036 eV), for hyaluronic acid – connection through the hydroxyl group attached to the C6 residue of N-acetylglucosamine (∆E = 939.413 kcal/mol, ε = 0.022 eV).

Abstract

In the general problem of oscillations observed in the solar corona, a particularly intriguing position is occupied by quasi-periodic oscillations, which are often observed in coronal holes. Most often, periods are observed in pairs of close values. Among the possible explanations of this phenomenon, we consider the dispersion of acoustic waves under the influence of thermal conductivity. The possibility of the appearance of pairs of periods may be due to the existence of a minimum at the group velocity, which is realized under the conditions available in the corona. We show how this works, and also claim that this mechanism can serve for the purposes of coronal seismology to determine the parameters of coronal plasma.

Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the influence of social media on the information privileges of political elites. In the ―Introduction‖ section, the author substantiates the relevance of the topic and problem of his research. In his opinion, it is determined by the rapid development of social media, which have become a tool of various political actors who use them to achieve various goals. With the development of social media, political elites face new difficulties in exercising information privileges, but at the same time receive new opportunities for information dominance. The study of the information privileges of political elites is becoming even more relevant in the context of an information war. In the section ―Materials and research methods‖ the author characterizes the empirical and methodological bases of his research. The first includes reports and reports from various research organizations, regulations, etc. The second includes the classical theory of elites, the modern theory of political communication and the modern theory of mediatization of politics. In the ―Literature Review,‖ the author systematizes publications related to the topic and problem of their research. He identifies three groups of works: 1) works that examine the interaction of elites with the mass media, their communication activity and strategies for mastering the information space; 2) works whose authors analyze the influence of social media on the political process; 3) works in which social media are correlated with such an important political science category as the political regime. In the ―Research results and their discussion‖ section, the author formulates a definition of information privileges, understanding them as priority access to the media space, which provides significant opportunities in the field of information dominance. He argues that, firstly, social media acts as a factor preventing political elites from exercising information privileges, because imply practices that contradict elite models of managing society, and secondly, that in order to realize information privileges and maintain their socio-political status in general, political elites are currently using two ―reactive‖ and one ―proactive‖ strategies. The author emphasizes that in conditions of political crises, through social media, the opposition is trying to eliminate the communication monopoly of political elites. The authors also point out that in the ―post-truth‖world, political elites receive new opportunities to exercise their information privileges. However, ―post-truth‖ circulating in the space of social media also determines the formation of opposition centers of information gravity. Using the latest data, he comes to the conclusion that the hybrid war unleashed against Russia involves the involvement of existing and the formation of new hostile centers of information gravity, the key task of which is precisely to undermine the information dominance of the Russian elite, and then to create and manage internal crises, in destabilizing the political regime in the country. In the ―Conclusion‖ section, the author summarizes his research, briefly listing the results obtained.

Abstract

The Chinese infrastructure project "One Belt, One Road" worth $1 trillion has significant landscape, socio-economic and political consequences for the Central Asian states through which it runs. This article explores how the Chinese initiative has an impact on the local infrastructure and local communities of the region. The implementation of the project in the Central Asian states shows not only the strengths of the Chinese program, but highlights its shortcomings of yesterday, current risks and potential prospects. The explanatory concept "hierarchical realism" is used in the work, which allowed us to get closer to a better understanding of the difficulties in the implementation of the Chinese megaproject "One Belt, One Road". This concept helps us to reveal the existence in the past of Beijing's hierarchical view of the international system, according to which China plays a much more dominant role than it is expressed in China's official rhetoric. It was the elements of the hegemonic style in the implementation of the megaproject "One Belt, One Road" in the countries of Central Asia that led to the fact that Chinese plans were met here very coolly at first. The authors analyze the historical turn in the implementation of the Chinese megaproject, which is associated with the implementation of the Xi'an Declaration. The pioneering nature of the decisions taken at this summit in May 2023 consisted in their humanitarian and social orientation in order to overcome Beijing's previous hierarchical view of the Central Asian region.

Abstract

This article analyzes a little-studied aspect of the consolidation of Dagestan society in 2010-2020: how the process of religious and political unification took place in Southern Dagestan. The paper traces the process of alternation of political and administrative-coercive methods in the unification of local Islamic communities in the region. The author proves that the murder of Sheikh Sirazhudin Khuriksky, who had maintained the religious independence of Southern Dagestan since the 1990s, was a turning point in the process of eliminating the religious autonomy of this sub-region. These changes coincided with the coming to the post of the head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov, who actively interfered in local politics. The Dagestan Muftiate took advantage of this situation to extend its influence to Southern Dagestan. The described processes led to the consolidation of political power in the republic and the unification of the Muslim space. The former fragmentation and complication of religious and political life have been stopped. Because they threatened the emergence of uncontrolled processes associated with the radicalization of Dagestan Muslim society.

Abstract

Interstate relations at the present stage require the use of the widest possible foreign policy tools. In the context of the actualization of the geo-economic factor in modern world politics, the role of economic diplomacy draws special attention. Currently, this area is considered as one of the priorities by the majority of countries in the world. In this context, the states of the Middle East are no exception. At the same time, the Arabian monarchies are the most active on this diplomatic track, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which uses its significant economic potential to achieve its own foreign policy interests. An integral part of such a strategy is the implementation of economic and infrastructure megaprojects. Thus, the purpose of this article is to analyze Saudi Arabia's use of its major projects as a tool of economic diplomacy.

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of the formation of strategic directions of India's foreign policy, since the modern foreign policy of India is determined precisely by the need to overcome geographical and geopolitical isolation. It is concluded that the emphasis on the economic component in the modern system of international relations contributes to the solution of two basic tasks – creating conditions for the economic security of the country and strengthening its competitiveness at the macroeconomic level. The next conclusion is that the degree of rivalry between India and China for regional influence will increase, and the struggle for recognition by the world community will become essential for both Asian powers. In this context, India will rely on two factors: "Indian democracy" as opposed to "Chinese socialism" and Indian support for the United States in the issue of "containing China".

Abstract

In the article, Internet advertising is revealed as a socio-political phenomenon, where the authors turn to various paradigms as general theoretical orientations for cognition of the phenomenon. It is proved that studies of the socio-political reality of the life of modern society, which can no longer do without Internet advertising, including political advertising, are based on three main paradigmatic foundations: structural, interpretive, unifying (integrative). It is revealed that Internet advertising as a social institution acts as a political phenomenon, among other things, and is a fairly stable set, which is quite easy to identify as a set of formal and informal rules designed to serve the interests, first of all, of advertising producers.

Abstract

In the study the authors identify three approaches to understanding the essence of geoeconomics: geographical, instrumental and discursive. Within the first approach geoeconomics is interpreted as a scientific discipline that studies the economic aspects of global geographic space. Within the second as a strategy that involves the use of economic resources for foreign policy purposes. The third approach implies geoeconomics as a worldview or a way of seeing the world, in which economic goals and means of foreign policy activity acquire significance and priority. The authors come to the conclusion that neorealism and neoliberalism are associated with an instrumental approach, while constructivism is associated with a discursive one. From a constructivist point of view geoeconomics as a discourse endows actors with economic interests and obliges them to use economic instruments of international political influence.

Abstract

Muir-Torre syndrome is a hereditary autosomal dominant syndrome that belongs to HNPCC (Lynch syndrome), being its subspecies. The disease is associated with a high risk of developing colorectal cancer, as well as other cancers of the gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary tract and skin lesions in the form of tumors of the sebaceous glands and keratoacanthus. Visceral cancer in the syndrome is characterized by multiple localization and a low degree of malignancy. Mutations in the genes MSH2 and MLH1 - loci 2p22–p21 and 3p21.3 in the DNA repair system were detected in patients with Muir-Torre syndrome, which leads to its microsatellite instability. Skin tumors may precede visceral cancer, may develop in parallel with the malignant process of internal organs. The importance of timely diagnosis of skin neoplasms (sebaceous gland adenomas and keratoacanthus) as a marker of Muir-Torre syndrome is emphasized. The article presents a clinical case of Muir-Torre syndrome in a 50-year-old patient, which was manifested by a combination of gastric cancer, multiple adenomas of the sebaceous glands and solitary keratoacanthoma. The first manifestations of the syndrome were adenomas of the sebaceous glands of the facial skin, mistakenly regarded by dermatologists as a papular form of rosacea. After 4 years, the patient underwent surgery for a keratoacanthoma of the shin, a couple of months later, the patient was diagnosed with stage IIA gastric cancer (T3N0M0), a ring-cell variant. Skin rashes were regarded as hereditary paraneoplastic Muir–Torre syndrome. In order to detect oncological diseases early, it is necessary to improve the qualifications of doctors in the clinic and diagnosis of hereditary paraneoplastic dermatoses.

Abstract

The article presents the results of statistics and dynamics of sunflower production for the period 1940-2020 in Russia. A correlation and regression analysis of the relationship between the indicators of sunflower seed production in the Russian Federation and a number of related data for the period 1945-2020 was performed. The analysis of the structure of production and consumption of sunflower oil in the Russian Federation is given. The purpose of the study is to study the stages of production development and the influence of regional factors on the technological parameters of the quality of sunflower seeds and oil. It is shown that the yield of sunflower seeds in most cases strongly influenced the gross harvest of sunflower seeds, while the correlation coefficient exceeded 0.7. With the exception of the period when 2.1-4.0 million tons of sunflower seeds were obtained, which may be due in some cases to adverse weather conditions and violations of cultivation technologies. The oil content in sunflower seeds depends on its content in the kernel and the amount of husk. The higher the oil content in the kernel and the lower the percentage of husk, the sunflower seeds have a rich oil content. The density of crops also affects the oil content of sunflower. Dense sowing, within certain climatic and weather conditions, contributes to an increase in the oil content in seeds. The health benefits and nutritional value of sunflower oil are due to its fatty acid composition, namely the content of unsaturated fatty acids. The content of fatty acids in various varieties of sunflower oil, including from the raw materials of the Ural region, the nutritional value of vegetable oil, the prospects for the production of vegetable oil in the Russian Federation were studied. The study of the fatty acid composition of vegetable oils was carried out on the basis of the Unified Laboratory Complex of the Ural State University of Economics. The quality assessment was carried out by chromatographic method using generally accepted techniques. It was found that the content of unsaturated fatty acids in triglycerides exceeded the content of saturated acids. Thus, for polyunsaturated fatty acids, sunflower oil of direct extraction (88.80% by weight) has a higher content, while unrefined sunflower oil has a slight deviation (88.72% by weight), flaxseed (88.49% by weight), which characterizes a high nutritional value. Thus, according to the content of linolenic acid, the highest content (61.10% by weight) was found in sunflower oil of direct extraction. Rapeseed oil is inferior to other types of oil in terms of unsaturated fatty acids (76.42% by weight). The problem of raw material quality depends on many factors, namely humidity, oil content, acidity of seeds plays an important role here. Yield depends on weather conditions, availability of zoned varieties, agrotechnical techniques. Sunflower cultivation in the Urals has its own peculiarities related to the climate and soil conditions of the region. Therefore, in order to obtain a high yield, it is necessary to choose specially adapted varieties of this crop.
