Abstract

The conflict in Libya plays a special role in the process of shaping the approach of Russia and Turkey to events in the Middle East, in particular, in Syria. Libya has remained split since 2011 - since the overthrow of the regime ofMuammar Gaddafi. Soon after his assassination, civil war broke out in the country. Libya at that time had a high life expectancy and low inflation rates, but the clashes began against the backdrop of a serious crisis of power: there were many people in society who recognized the tribal system. During his rule, Gaddafi tried to deprive the power of the opposition tribes, of which there were about 140, at least 30 of them retained serious influence, but this was never done. And with the overthrow of the leader of the state, a power vacuum formed and the struggle for power resumed.
