The EFFECT OF BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE COMPOUNDS OF PREBIOTIC ACTIONS ON BLOOD GLUCOSE STATUS IN DIABETES
Abstract
The article contains data on the current state associated with one of the widely used diseases in the world, diabetes mellitus (DM), characterized by the presence of hyperglycemia that is associated with biochemical alterations of glucose and lipid, peroxidation of lipids, insulin resistance and dysfunction of β-cells of the pancreas. Considers the impact of biologically active compounds (water-soluble complex carbohydrates) from vegetable raw materials on the glycemic status in diabetes mellitus.
