PARADIGMATIC FOUNDATIONS OF MODERN TURKISH FOREIGN POLICY
Abstract
The author analyzes conceptual ideas underlying the foreign policy of modern Turkey. The author disclose the content of such specific to the Turkish political discourse concepts as "self-perception» (ben-idraki) and "center state» (merkez devleti), which represent the essence of the transformation of Ankara's foreign policy and its becoming multi-dimensional, proactive and value oriented.
