THE STUDY OF THE INFLUENCE OF THE DRUG «REMINYL» ON THE HEART

Abstract

Alzheimer’s type dementias are enormous not only medical but also social and economic problem. Reminyl today should be considered as an effective and safe drug for the treatment of all forms of dementia and cogni-tive disorders with high therapeutic potential and broad prospects. In a study on rats found that reminyl con-tributes to the development of disturbances in the processes of excitability and conductivity of the heart muscle in the form of atrial extrasistole atrioventricular and sinus blockades at a dose of 20.0 mg/kg. toxic dose in connection with hypocalcemia develop severe bradyarrhythmia, which is also a consequence of the closures.
