Abstract

The article, based on the results of the author's sociological research, addresses the problem of protest moods in the Stavropol Territory. It justifies the idea that civilian activity is influenced by processes associated with the conclusion, maintenance or dissolution of consensus between the government and society. The authors determine the catalysts, motives and reasons for protest activity in general.
