Благодаря своей совокупной мощи США в состоянии оказывать значительное воздействие на динамику политических процессов, происходящих как в рамках мировой политической системы в целом, так и в рамках ее региональных подсистем. Несмотря на пересмотр США собственной глобальной стратегии, ближневосточный регион продолжает занимать важное место в перечне американских национальных интересов. Даже с учетом того, что у Вашингтона периодически возникают определенные сложности в рамках реализации внешней политики на Ближнем Востоке, ему удается поддерживать постоянный диалог по широкому спектру вопросов с монархиями Аравийского полуострова в целом и Кувейтом в частности.

Due to its overall power the United States is able to influence significantly on the dynamics of political processes taking place both in the global political systemand in its regional subsystems. Despite the fact that at the present stage the United States is revising its own global strategy, the Middle East still has an important position within the list of the U.S. national interests. Even taking into account the fact that Washington periodically experiences certain difficulties within the process of foreign policy implementation in the Middle East, it iscapableof maintaining a constant dialogue on a wide range of issues with the monarchies of the Arabian Peninsula in general and Kuwait in particular.
